HISTORY OF MOUNTAINEER CLUB "RADNICKI"

Mountaineer club "Radnicki" had founded in 1949 as one of the clubs of Sport society "Radnicki" in Belgrade.
It has never been club with enormous number of members, and depends from the period, it had from 50 to 200 members, but always has enjoyed extremely respect in mountaineer organizations as a core of alpinistic and mountain rescuers. Speaking in that way, the history of the club is in tight connection with history of AOB- Alpinist Section of Belgrade, which has been founded in our chambers and was composed mostly from the members of "Radnicki".

Mountain history of "Radnicki" is very rich. Alpinists of "Radnicki" has done a whole series of first climbings,
and among them special spaces are reserved for the first climbings on Prokletije and Komovi in winter and summer conditions, 1952, 1956, 1957, 1961, 1962 and for discovery, research and treat of the ledges, peaks and rocks of Karanfil and Vezirova Brada in Montenegrian part of Prokletije, in the valley of Grbaja and Ropojane. One of the most important climbings was direction Kotlovska in Karanfil's, in massive of Prokletije, climbed out yet in 1957.

Among mountaineers of "Radnicki" special gratitude goes to Zivojin Gradisar, Branko Bata Mitrasinovic, Darko Vidanovic, Branko Kotlajic, Zvonimir Blazina, Ivan Stojanovic, Milorad Mirkovic, Velibor Stanisic, Dobrivoj Gacesa, Miodrag Bozinovic, Radoljub Jevtic-Cike, Dobrica Lazic-Baca, Dusan Mocilnik, Milan Matic, Radmila Panic,Milutin Rodic, Stojan Dimitrijevic, Nikola Maljmo... At the end of 20th century it has been done several hinderance of the ledge of Ljuljasevic Karanfil, with the rise on the Obla glava (Zvonimir Blazina and Branislav Savic) in 1983.
Also, crossing of ''winter neckless'' of Karanfil's ( rise through Krosnja on North Peak, ledge hinderance over Midle to Southern Peak and coming down over The Kotlovi - Nenad Galic, Milan Ljubojevic and Branko Petrovic) in 1993/94. On March 25th, 2003 our mountaineers: Rade Pavlovic, Lazar Dojcinovic, Ljubomir Zagorac and Aleksandar Lukic, has done first winter rise on Kolac-the highest peak of Montenegro ( Prokletije, 2530m). 
Group of mountaineers with Rade Pavlovic on the head has done, till these days, the most mass winter rise on peak Ocnjak - the peak has climbed 7 mountaineers.

To international alpinistic success surely belongs climbing up through the most difficult direction in Dolomites- Comici - Dimai in the north rock Cima Grande di Lavaredo (3003m) in 1955 done by Zvonko Blazina and his austrian partner. Zvonko Blazina and Vojislav Popadic has done in extremly bad weather conditions hinderance of the ledge of  Matherhorn (4505m), rose over Lion ledge, and coming down over Hernil ledge in 1956. године. First rise of mountaineers of Serbia on Mont Blanc has done Ivan Stojanovic with foreign partner in 1960 with the rise up to extremely unavailable Dan di Jean (4014m). In 1965 partner-rope Zvonko Blazina and Dusan Mocilnik -Keli has done first ledge hinderance of Mont Blanc with climbing several Peaks over 4000m. Same year, this action was reapeated by Ivan Stojanovic and his franch partner. Our alpinists Milan Ljubojevic and Stevan Cupac were members of AOB(Alpinistic Section of Belgrade) expedition on the highest peak of North Andes-Uaskaran (6768m) in Peru in 1995. Maybe the krone of present alpinistic features represents 
participation of Zvonko Blazina-Zivojin Gradisar partner-rope in Yugoslavian expedition on Kavkaz in 1964, 
when after 3-days rise of ''spar of maestros '' on Elbrus (5640m), Peak Kavkaz, Bzeduh and peak of Free Spain, has done also 5 days ledge hinderance of Uzba with its two peaks Northern (4695m) and Southern (4710m) and through southern rock with the hight over 2000m. In the year of ?????? from 20th July to 10th August our members has done climbing on Mont Blanc and Matehrhorn, along with climbs on Grossglockner, Grossvenediger and Grand Paradiso. All 7 members have climbed on Mont Blanc: Nevena Mihajlovic, 
Milos Stojanovic, Dragan Pavlovic, Aleksandar Pacevski, Nikola Djuric, Ljubomir Zagorac and Aleksandar Lukic and after that on Matherhorn: Aleksandar Lukic, Nikola Djuric and Ljubomir Zagorac. Finaly, on 63 actions in 2003 with 711 mountaineers has done a quite improvement forward, not to mention quality of done climbs - in previeus year we had 501 participants. We have to mention that Dr Ivan Stojanovic was in several mandates president of Comision of Mountain Rescue Sevice of Mountaineering Association of Serbia, and Zvonimir Blazina was first instructor of alpinisam of federal range for alpinisam and Mountain Rescue Sevice and first president of our club- "Radnicki".

Also, our club "Radnicki" precedes in publishing activities. It is continued issuing of "Bilten" which comprise actual theme in  Conection with members, organisation and actions of club. Then, we have issued mountaineering guide "GRBAJA", authors- Branko Kotlajic and Radonja Sekularac. book is A5 format, with over 100 pages and around 50 photos, and legde map of Grbaja's Prokletije, and also panorama photo of Prokletije with marked peaks. Branislav Cerovic, longtime member of "Radnicki", was co-author of first guide through Durmitor in 1938, and in 1979 he issue second edition, and also a special map of Durmitor in size of 1:25000.
